National Indipendence Day In Sri Lanka

 

February 4, 1948 is a special day for our country. That is the day our country gained independence.

Today, we have been free for 78 years. So, in this year 2026, we celebrated our 78th Independence Day with great pomp and show, like every year.


The Galle Face is filled with the trinity of the Army, Navy, Police, and Air Force and the cultural elements unique to our country on February 4.

















All the parade groups salute in front of the Janipath on that day. Many people do not get the chance to join this National Independence Day celebration.


I have a humble pride that I have been able to participate in the National Independence Day celebration for 3 years in a row.

An unforgettable day in my life😍❤😎

  This is about a memory that made my life beautiful/changed for a moment . I thought I would share it with you.😇 As I said earlier, I am someone who likes to try many things. So here is another one of my achievements.💝💪                            The National C adet Corps I first joined this in 2018 . At that time, I was just a sergeant holding      a    rank. This is a photo of me going to camp for the first time. It was    about 8 years ago now. Even looking at it now, I feel  ashamed .😁😂😘 Anyway, the day I went to camp for the first time , I thought that someday I would also reach the highest rank here. So, after 6 years of hard work , I was able to make that dream come true.😍😘💝 2023, I was appointed as a Regimental Sergeant Major, the highest rank in the National Cadet Corps( 35 Battalion).   Dance is my breath, if I may say so. I love that art so much. I have loved dancing since I was a little girl.❤👀✌ A girl's only dream is to get a diploma, and that is the most valuable thing a girl who studies dance gets.
